Golfing Can Produce Chronic Pain January 15, 2008

Posted by Serious in : Sports Injuries , trackback

The repetitive motions used in golf cause constant stress on certain joints and muscles of the body. The lower back is especially vulnerable, as are shoulders and wrists, to the twisting stress of every golf swing. It is very easy to aggravate the discs in your back to the point of pain and inflammation. An improper swing can really stress the rotator cup in the shoulder, even to the point of tearing. Most medical therapies for these types of injuries call for the use of NSAIDS, and rest to calm the pain and inflammation. Rather than NSAIDS with their potential for side effects, there is an all-natural alternative (without side effects) to address the pain and inflammation. Acute injuries warrant immediate medial evaluation and treatment.
